Before establishing Aesthetika, Dr. Rebecca Castaneda acted as the Health Commissioner of San Francisco City and County for four years. Over the course of her career, Dr. Rebecca Castaneda has combined her art and science training to emerge as a uniquely skilled aesthetic dentist. Dr. Rebecca Castaneda holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts from New Mexico State University. Upon completing her undergraduate education, Dr. Rebecca Castaneda further pursued her training at the University of Texas, Houston, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Mount Sinai School of Medicine at the City University of New York for her General Practice residency. In 1986, Dr. Rebecca Castaneda relocated to San Francisco, where she received her degree in Prosthodontics from the University of California at San Francisco. Prior to taking on her position as Health Commissioner, Dr. Rebecca Castaneda taught students at the University of California at San Francisco as an Assistant Clinical Professor. She currently serves as the Dental Advisor for Everett College in San Francisco.
